For a Pokemon that specializes on Physical attacks, it is recommended to get a Nature that increases its Attack stat in order to maximize damage. The Nature Adamant is recommended for this type of Pokemon.
Conversely, a Pokemon that focuses on Sp. Attacks is recommended to get a Nature that boosts its Sp. Attack stat. The Nature Modest is recommended for this Pokemon type.
By doing this and making use of Strong Style in battle, your Pokemon is set to deal massive damage to its foes!
You can tell what nature your Pokemon has by checking its summary. Do this by opening your satchel with the up button on your d-pad and selecting which Pokemon you want to check the nature of. Hit "Check Summary" and cycle through the summary screen until you get to the rightmost tab.
The screen will show you what nature your Pokemon has, as well as details on when you first met the Pokemon.
Alternatively, you can tell a Pokemon's nature by looking at its stats screen on its summary. The up and down arrows indicate which stats are increased and decreased. You can then check our Nature List and Chart above to see which Nature your Pokemon has.
A Pokemon's Nature will affect the growth of 2 of its different stats (Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense). Nature will increase the growth of 1 of the stats by 10%, while decreasing the growth of another by 10%.
