List of Wardens

Wardens are responsible for taking care of special Pokemon found across the Hisui region. You will learn that they have their own respective roles to do as you meet them in the story.

Akari and Rei

Akari

Rei

In the game, you will play as Akari or Rei, members of the Survey Corps tasked to study the Hisui region and the Pokemon that live there.

Choosing the female protagonist, Akari, will let you have Rei as your partner and vice versa.

Commander Kamado

Kamado acts as the leader of the entire Galaxy Expedition Team. Despite being harsh at times, members of the organization look up to him as a reliable leader who they can trust.

Captain Cyllene

Cyllene is the leader of Galaxy Expedition Team's Survey Corps. She plays a strict hand in her leadership and watches over her team closely.

After seeing that you have great potential, she will let you participate in a trial to determine whether you are worthy of joining the Galaxy Expedition Team.

Professor Laventon

Professor Laventon is Hisui region's very own Pokemon professor. As a member of the Galaxy Expedition Team's Survey Corps, he studies Pokemon and is aiming to create a complete Pokedex

Diamond Clan

Adaman

Adaman is the leader of the Diamond Clan and has Leafeon as his partner Pokemon. He seems to regard time as very valuable so he hates seeing it go to waste. He likes to rush forward without worrying too much about particulars, much to the dismay of Pearl Clan's Irida.

Warden Arezu

Arezu is a warden under the Diamond Clan tasked to serve a Noble Lilligant, the Lady of the Ridge. Feeling a great deal of responsibility as a warden, she tends to solve problems all on her own.

Warden Arezu showed interest in the operations of the Galaxy Expedition Team and is looking forward to learn more about the organization!

Warden Iscan

Iscan is a warden who lives by the sea and takes care of a special Basculegion in the area. He seems to get frightened easily and doesn't like Ghost-type Pokemon very much.

Warden Mai

Another member of the Diamond Clan is Mai - a warden tasked to take care of a special Wyrdeer in the Obsidian Fieldlands. She is often seen with her partner Pokemon, Munchlax. These two grew up together like siblings!

Warden Melli

Melli, the cheeky warden from the Diamond Clan, is the one who watches over a Noble Electrode, the Lord of the Hollow. He believes that the strange lightning that struck Electrode was a blessing from the almighty Sinnoh, so he's stubborn to be part of its quelling.

Warden Sabi

Sabi is Diamond Clan's young and cheerful warden who watches over a special Braviary. She claims to be gifted with clairvoyance—asking people odd questions and even making them guess if her powers are the real deal or not.

Pearl Clan

Irida

Irida is Pearl Clan's cautious and astute leader. Her partner Pokemon is Glaceon and she believes courage is important in facing the vast Hisui region. She is often seen arguing with the Diamond Clan's Adaman as their personalities clash.

Despite being suspicious of you when you first meet, you'll soon gain her trust after quelling the noble Pokemon.

Warden Lian

Lian is a young warden who can be seen sporting a familiar hat. He cares for a Noble Kleavor, the lord of Obsidian Fieldlands. Despite his young age, he has proven himself to be very talented. Thus, earning the title of a warden.

Once you meet him, he might ask for you help in calming the Pokemon down.

Warden Calaba

Calaba is a warden who devoted most of her life to the Pearl Clan and their almighty Sinnoh. Even if she's known for being stubborn and old-fashioned, Calaba will still lend a hand to outsiders should she and her special Ursaluna deem them worthy of her trust.

Warden Palina

Palina is one of the wardens of Pearl Clan and a dear friend to Irida. Since the passing of her previous lord, Palina refuses to forcibly raise the late lord's child to be a rightful heir of the vacant throne, which resulted in people questioning her title as a warden. Palina watches over the two Growlithe pups in the Cobalt Coastlands.

Warden Ingo

Having been sent back in time and losing much of his memory, Ingo finds his new home with the people of the Pearl Clan and becomes one of their chosen wardens. Ingo is the clan's warden who watches over a special Sneasler.

Warden Gaeric

Gaeric is the warden to the Noble Avalugg and a mentor to Irida. He likes to train in the cold environment of Alabaster Icelands. He is very used to the climate that he often works out near Avalugg's Legacy without a shirt. Gaeric even tried climbing the large mass of ice and almost reached the top!

Ginkgo Guild

Ginter

Ginter is the head of the Ginkgo Guild. Don't be fooled by the stoic and uninterested look on his face. Underneath it all is a strong leader that keeps his guild together.

If you want rare and special items, then he's your person.

Volo

Volo is one of the Ginkgo Guild's merchant. He seems to like wandering about the Hisui region. Chances are you'll likely cross paths with him wherever you go.

He’s got a boundless sense of curiosity and is always interested in unusual finds and unusual people. Just like Ginter, he will sell you rare items that can help you in your adventure!

Ancient Retreat Residents

Cogita

Cogita is the sole resident in Ancient Retreat, an area situated between Coronet Highlands and Cobalt Coastlands. She is knowledgeable about the legends in Hisui region and seems to be close to the Pokemon Enamorus

Zisu

Zisu is the Captain of the Security Corps in Jubilife Village. You can find her at the Training Grounds, where you can teach your Pokemon new moves or master the ones they already know!

Lucille

You can find Lucille by a shrine near the Training Grounds. She will sell you Charms with effects that will help you explore Hisui.

Simona is the person in charge of the Trading Post, where you can exchange your Merit Points for items and trade with other players.

Bonn

Bonn owns a candy stand near the Galaxy Team Headquarters, but the candies he sells are not just your ordinary sweets—these are Exp. Candies to strengthen your Pokemon!

Anvin

Anvin is the shopkeep of Craftworks, where you can buy recipes and crafting materials that would prove to be useful for expeditions across the Hisui Region.

Beni is in charge of the Wallflower, the village's canteen. He will be the one to serve you some Potato Mochi to celebrate the success of your missions.

Edith is the person to go to if you want to change your character's hairstyle! Give your character a hair makeover by visiting the Hairdresser and talking to Edith!

Anthe

Anthe is the person in charge of the Clothier. By speaking to her, you can buy new clothing and change your wardrobe!

Dagero

You can visit Dagero in his photography studio to take a picture with your Pokemon. You can even change the background and add a filter for a customized shot!

Colza

You can find Colza at the farm and ask him to harvest different crops such as Apricorns, Berries, and Mints.

Marie

When you're at the village, you can talk to Marie if you need to check the Pokemon currently in the Pasture or change the Pokemon on your team.

Belamy

Show Belamy one of your Pokemon so he can assess their fondness towards you. Since some Pokemon only evolve through friendship, you can go to Belamy to find out how close you are to evolving your Pokemon!
