How to Beat Dialga and Palkia Origin Form

Steps to Beating the Final Boss

Avoid Facing the Pokemon

Avoid facing Dialga or Palkia head-on as it will perform a teleporting lunge attack that leaves little room for you to dodge.

At the start of the battle, move to the side of the Pokemon before throwing Space Balms or Time Balms.

Dodge Meteor Attacks to the Sides

PLA Final Boss Meteor
When Dialga or Palkia starts to open its mouth, it will start to summon meteors that will strike at a certain area. Avoid the red circles on the ground by dodging to the sides.

The red circles will form purple flames around it, making the area inaccessible for a certain amount of time.

Roll Towards the Shockwave Attacks

PLA Final Boss Dodge
After Dialga or Palkia finishes summoning the meteors, it will start unleashing shockwave attacks similar to the Frenzied Noble Hisuian Lilligant's attack.

Roll towards the shockwaves once it's about to hit the player. The boss will perform this attack at least three times before stopping.

Find an Opening and Throw Balms

PLA Final Boss Balm

After understanding the attack patterns of either Dialga or Palkia, be sure to throw Time Balms or Space Balms for every opening you get to deplete its Frenzy Gauge. Continue carefully timing your dodges to prevent blacking out while you're at!
