Press B to run away from a Pokemon battle and dodge an Alpha Pokemon's attacks as much as you can to safely run away from it. Read on to learn how to run away from a Pokemon battle and how to run away from an Alpha Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players will encounter wild Pokemon in the overworld and have the chance to fight them in a battle. However, there are Pokemon that are aggressive and will attack you directly when they sense your presence.

Stay Away From Aggressive Pokemon

Aggressive Pokemon can be avoided by simply leaving their territory despite them being alerted with your presence.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus also introduced the spine-chilling Alpha Pokemon in the trailers. These Pokemon are a lot more dangerous and aggressive than regular wild ones. They are characterized by their large size and glowing red eyes. They will attack anyone that comes too close.

When you spot an Alpha Pokemon and don't want anything to do with it, do not get too close. If you accidentally get too close and see that it's about to attack, dodge by pressing the Y button and moving the left stick to the direction you want to go.

If you take too much damage from its attacks, you'll black out and lose some of your items.

Press B to Run Away During a Pokemon Battle

Pressing the B button during a Pokemon battle will let you run away from the fight. Do this if you simply don't want to continue the battle. Afterwards, run away from the aggressive Pokemon and leave its territory.
