How to Get Sun Stones
Find as buried treasure with Ursaluna
Sun Stones can sometimes be found randomly while riding Ursaluna. Ursaluna is good at digging up other evolutionary items and materials as well, so be sure to ride it while searching for them!

Sometimes obtained through shaking ores
Sun Stones can sometimes be obtained by breaking the shaking ores in an area. Breaking these ores will often cause a Geodude or Graveler to pop out, but like Ursaluna, these are great methods of finding evolutionary items, so be sure to break them if you encounter one.
Purchase from Ginter
Ginter may offer a Sun Stone at the Ginkgo Guild Shop for ₽5,000, where he refers to it as Sunlike Rock. His offer will last until you catch 20 Pokemon, where he will change his offer to another item.

Sun Stones can be purchased at the Trading Post for 1000 Merit Points. Merit Points can be gained by picking up lost satchels.
