The Daybreak Ver. 1.1.0 Software Update free DLC for Pokemon Legends: Arceus is now available and new features are available in the game. Read on for more information about this big update!

Daybreak Walkthrough and All Requests

New Contents Playable after Finishing Main Story

The story contents added in the Daybreak update can be accessed after finishing the story and viewing the game's end credits. Additionally, the Eternal Battle Reverie feature can only be accessed after catching Arceus. Other changes like additional harvests for the Farm, Ginter selling multiple items, and bug fixes are still available even without completing the main story.

Complete Story Walkthrough

Daybreak Story Objectives

1 Go to the Heights Camp in Obsidian Fieldlands and interact with Mai to receive Request 95.
2 Complete all the Requests from 95 to 102. Each Request will be unlocked after completing the previous one.
3 Got to the Training Grounds to unlock the Path of Solitude and Path of Tenacity features, as well as Requests 108 to 117.
Finishing Path of Solitude Requests (108 - 117) unlocks 5 additional Path of Solitude requests (118 - 122) so try finishing them all!
4 Go to your Quarters and sleep to unlock the Eternal Battle Reverie. You must have caught Arceus for this step.
- Optional: Complete Requests 103, 104, and 105. Each of these are unlockable before completing any of the other Daybreak Requests.

The majority of the new features in Daybreak can be completed with the above steps. Finishing the new Requests is the bulk of the content, so complete every new Request you get to continue the story.

Investigate Massive Mass Outbreaks

Alpha Pokemon Mass Outbreak

Rare Pokemon that usually do not spawn in the wild and in Mass Outbreaks will start appearing in new Massive Mass Outbreaks. Partner up with Warden Mai and her Munchlax in a series of new Requests to investigate these new Pokemon!

A new item, the Aguav Berry, has also been added to reveal all the Pokemon which are appearing in a Massive Mass Outbreak on the map.

High-Level Pokemon Battles in Eternal Battle Reverie

After completing all new Requests up through #102, when you go to sleep in your quarters in Jubilife Village, you will sometimes meet Arceus in your dreams, upon which you'll be able to start a gauntlet of battles with high-level Pokemon. If you can make it far, you'll be able to get rare training Items for your efforts!

Path of Solitude and Path of Tenacity

New Training Grounds Features

Upon completing each of the new Requests from 95-102, you'll gain access to two new features at the Training Grounds, the Path of Solitude and Path of Tenacity. The Path of Solitude pits a single Pokemon against a single powerful opponent, while the Path of Tenacity requires you to fight multiple trainers in a row with a single team.

Wyrdeer Mass Outbreak

1 New Requests regarding Massive Mass Outbreaks, wherein Mass Outbreaks will start appearing across the Hisui region simultaneously.
2 Added Eternal Battle Reverie, wherein Arceus will appear in your dreams while you sleep in your quarters and test your strength in a challenge.
3 New battles are available in the Training Grounds, featuring the Path of Solitude and Path of Tenacity, where you can battle the Wardens once more.
4 You can now take photos with story characters in the Photo Studio.
5 New challenge in the Balloon Race in Coronet Highlands.
6 New special Berry harvest is available at the Farm in Jubilife Village.
7 Ginter will now offer several items at the Gingko Guild Caravan in Jubilife Village. A few new items have also been added

Bug Fixes

Ver. 1.1.0

1 Fixed the softlock regarding catching Cresselia before talking to Melli in The Plate of Moonview Arena Mission.
2 Fixed instances wherein the weather does not change.
3 Several issues have been fixed to improve gameplay experience.

Cresselia Softlock Fixed

Cresselia Bug

Before the update was released, catching Cresselia before talking to Melli during The Plate of Moonview Arena Mission will disable players from progressing through the game, as the intended way to proceed through the mission is to capture Cresselia after talking to the Warden.

This has been fixed in the current patch and players can now continue playing through the post-game.

Newly Added Requests
  • New requests you can enjoy after viewing the game’s end credits have been added. Some of these requests will task you with surveying occurrences of the mysterious Massive Mass Outbreak phenomenon, in which simultaneous mass outbreaks of Pokémon occur throughout an area of the Hisui region.
  • You can keep enjoying Massive Mass Outbreaks even after completing the related requests.
  • If you’re using a save data in which you’ve have already viewed the game’s end credits, you can enjoy post-credits content immediately after updating the game.
The Newly Added Eternal Battle Reverie
  • After viewing the game’s end credits and completing all of the requests added in this update, you will be able to access the Eternal Battle Reverie. In the Eternal Battle Reverie, you’ll be able to meet Arceus in your dreams and attempt a test of strength. Hone your Pokémon battle skills and see how long of a win streak you can earn.
New Battles Added to the Training Grounds
  • After completing all the new requests regarding Massive Mass Outbreaks, you’ll be able to participate in the Path of Solitude or the Path of Tenacity at the Jubilife Village training grounds.
  • In the Path of Solitude, you must choose one Pokémon to use in a difficult battle tailored to that specific Pokémon. When you complete one of these battles, your Pokédex will be updated with a new mark.
  • In the Path of Tenacity, you will be able to enjoy battling the wardens and other characters you met during your journey.
  • To participate in all Path of Tenacity battles, you will have to complete several newly added requests in addition to those pertaining to Massive Mass Outbreaks.
New Features Added to the Photography Studio
  • Once you complete the new requests mentioned above, people that you’ve met during your travels will come visit the photography studio, and you will be able to take photographs with them.
New High-Difficulty Balloon Race Added to Coronet Highlands
  • After completing all the requests added in this update, you can try your hand at a new balloon race challenge in the Coronet Highlands. Utilize the various Pokémon you can ride and aim to complete the challenge.
An Additional Special Berry Harvest at the Farm in Jubilife Village
  • You can now request a new special Berry harvest at the Jubilife Village fields and grow Berries that you previously could not.
Changes to the Function of the Ginkgo Guild
  • When you buy items from Ginter at the Ginkgo Guild cart in Jubilife Village, you will now have several options to choose from.
Other Update Details
  • We have fixed an issue that kept players from advancing the mission “The Plate of Moonview Arena” if they took a specific action within that mission.
  • We have fixed an issue in which under certain conditions, the weather could become stuck in one state.
  • A number of other issues have also been fixed in order to improve your gameplay experience.

The Daybreak and Version 1.1.0 update for Pokemon Legends: Arceus is now available for download! The update was made available after the Pokemon Day 2022 livestream on February 27, 2022.

You can check if your software is up to date after pressing the + or - buttons on the Pokemon Legends Arceus application while on the Home Screen. It will be under the title on the top left corner.
