| Steps to proceed through The Counterpart | |

| 1 |  Fly towards the cave marked on your map where you can find an Origin Ore. The entrance to the cave is found south of the marker. Look for an Alpha Probopass at the base and you'll find an opening that leads to your destination nearby. |
| 2 | Enter the cave and defeat Charm in a Pokemon battle. She will send in a Lv61 Rhydon and a Lv62 Gengar this time around. |
| 3 |  Obtain a piece of Origin Ore and bring it back to Professor Laventon. You will then return to Jubilife Village and obtain the Origin Ball. |
| 4 | Bring Dialga/Palkia with you and talk to Cogita at the village gate. The Legendary Pokemon you just caught should be on your team when exiting the village, or else Cogita will stop you each time you try to leave and get stuck in Jubilife Village. |
| 5 | Return to the Temple of Sinnoh and speak with Commander Kamado to start the battle against Dialga/Palkia in their Origin Form. Whoever you will face depends on who you chose at the end of Disaster Looming. You will have to calm Palkia if you chose Adaman or Dialga if you chose Irida. |

The Counterpart Tips and Strategies
Dodge Twice from the Meteors
When Dialga/Palkia opens its mouth, it will summon meteors to strike at a specific area. The meteor strikes have a large AoE, so remember to dodge away from the center twice until you get out of the marked area.
Avoid getting cornered by the flames
Later on, Dialga/Palkia will start dropping multiple meteors in carpet bomb style. Since the meteors leave a pool of flames on the ground upon impact, they will keep you from crossing to the other side and push you towards the edge with nowhere to dodge the next meteors.
To avoid this, try to stay as close as you can to the flames so that the next meteors will hit part of them and overlap, leaving you more space to dodge the next strikes.
Keep Your Distance
Keep your distance from Dialga/Palkia as it can suddenly unleash shockwaves that might catch you off guard. If you accidentally close in, quickly roll away and prepare to dodge its next attack.

How to Unlock The Counterpart
Capture Dialga or Palkia
In the previous mission, you were tasked to capture the Legendary Pokemon at the Temple of Sinnoh. This can either be Dialga or Palkia depending on who you chose to accompany you at the Lake Trials. After capturing one of the legendaries, its counterpart will appear from a portal and you will retreat along with the others.
