| Steps to proceed through Getting to Work on Research Tasks | |

| 1 |  Speak with the professor and receive a Pokedex. |
| 2 | Travel to Fieldlands Camp and talk to Professor Laventon. In addition to Research Tasks, you will also learn how to dodge Pokemon attacks. |
| 3 |  Keep following the objective markers to learn tips on completing research tasks and obtain the Crafting Kit and the recipe for Potions from Rei/Akari at the end. |
| 4 |  Complete enough research tasks to accumulate 500 research points then report back to Professor Laventon. ▶ How to Increase Research Level Fast |
| 5 |  Return to Cyllene to advance to First Star rank and receive recipes for Heavy Balls and Revives. |
