New features and content to Pokemon Legends: Arceus were added during the Version 1.1.0 update to the game. Titled as the Daybreak update, new gameplay features were added, including the appearance of rare Pokemon in the new Massive Mass Outbreaks, as well as new battles in the Training Grounds.

On February 21st, the Japanese Pokemon Twitter announced a week-long celebration leading up to the Pokemon Day Celebration, finalizing with a Pokemon Presents at 2 PM GMT (9 AM EST) on February 27th, 2022. Event information for various Pokemon games were announced one day at a time!

The day one patch for Pokemon Legends Arceus was announced on January 27, 2022. Since the Version 1.0.1 update was announced before launch, it became available upon the game's release.

On January 25, the final Japanese trailer for Pokemon Legends: Arceus released on Twitter, which heavily teased the Hisuian forms of the final evolutions of the three starters, along with a mysterious structure atop a mountain, which is likely the iconic Spear Pillar.

Preloading Now Available!
Players may purchase the game digitally through the Nintendo E-Shop may now begin preloading their copies of Pokemon Legends: Arceus!
A Special Piplup Distribution!
As part of Pokemon's Project Piplup campaign, a new distrubution was been announced! From February 5 to February 24, 2022 Japanese players can claim the serial code for a special Piplup from Pokemon Center Osaka, Mega Tokyo, and Kanazawa!
