Version 2.0.0 for Pokemon HOME has been announced and will provide compatibility for Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and Pokemon Sword and Shield. This will finally allow transfer between the games.
Pokemon HOME Compatibility and Release Date
A new update dropped on March 18, 2022 to address some issues including the unobtainable Shiny Charm bug that plagued the game. Update now!
Version 1.1.1 Update and Patch Notes
New features and content to Pokemon Legends: Arceus are added during the Version 1.1.0 update to the game. Titled as the Daybreak update, new gameplay features are added, including the appearance of rare Pokemon in the new Massive Mass Outbreaks, as well as new battles in the Training Grounds.
Daybreak and Ver. 1.1.0 Update
On February 21st, the Japanese Pokemon Twitter has announced a week-long celebration leading up to the Pokemon Day Celebration, finalizing with a Pokemon Presents at 2 PM GMT (9 AM EST) on February 27th, 2022. Event information for various Pokemon games will be announced, a day at a time! Whether or not Pokemon Legends: Arceus will have any new announcements for it remains to be seen, but we'll be monitoring the event!

February 19 Trailer: Everything We Learned
The follow-up to the day one patch for Pokemon Legends: Arceus was announced on February 9, 2022. It is recommended to update to this version as it addresses bugs from the day one patch. This includes bug fixes for game crashes and the bug surrounding Cherrim's capture.
The day one patch for Pokemon Legends Arceus was announced on January 27, 2022. Since the Version 1.0.1 update was announced before launch, it will be available upon the game's release.

On January 25, the final Japanese trailer for Pokemon Legends: Arceus released on Twitter, which heavily teases Hisuian forms of the final evolutions of the three starters, along with a mysterious structure atop a mountain, which is likely the iconic Spear Pillar.

As part of Pokemon's Project Piplup campaign, a new distrubution has been announced! From February 5 to February 24 Japanese players can claim the serial code for a special Piplup from Pokemon Center Osaka, Mega Tokyo, and Kanazawa!

This Piplup knows the moves Bubble, Baby-Doll Eyes, Roost, and Double-Edge, and its distrubution coincides with Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl's own Piplup distribution!

Beginning January 28, 2022 to October 31st, 2022, players from Japan are able to receive a Happiny at Pokemon Centers on their birth month!
All that is needed is proof that your birthday is the current month of your visit and you are eligible to receive a Serial Code for Happiny in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
