Unlock Condition

Complete Request 99 by speaking to Mai in Jubilife Village after giving her Mushroom Cakes in Alabaster Icelands. The Request will start during the dialogue.

Mission Objectives

Give Munchlax Five Aguav Berries to Reveal Outbreaks

If you want to reveal every Pokemon that is currently in the outbreaks, give Munchlax five Aguav Berries by speaking to Mai near the Base Camp. This is useful if you don't want to explore the whole map, as these massive mass outbreaks will end after some time.

Receive Materials for 100 Sticky Globs from Adaman

After your investigation, speak to Mai back at the Base Camp. Adaman will then appear and give you materials that you can use to make 100 Sticky Globs.

In total, you will obtain 100 pieces of Spoiled Apricorns, Balls of Mud, and Caster Fern leaves from him. You can also use these materials to craft other items if you want to.

Question Marks Appear where Massive Mass Outbreaks Occur

Question mark symbols will appear around the map when a Massive Mass Outbreak is occurring. Go to the location of the icon, and either catch or defeat all the Pokemon to complete the objective.

Massive Mass Outbreaks Occur During Rainstorms

Massive Mass Outbreaks will only occur when it is raining, and will end after a certain amount of time has passed. After a Massive Mass Outbreak ends, you'll need to wait for a new one to start, so either simply wait for time to pass or return to Jubilife Village and come back repeatedly until a new Massive Mass Outbreak is shown on the map.
