Best Pokemon to Beat Hisuian Goodra

Hisuian Decidueye	Heracross	Hippowdon

Hisuian Goodra is a Dragon/Steel type Pokemon, making it weak to Fighting and Ground type moves. Take note that Hisuian Goodra can use Water type moves like Hydro Pump so you might want to take that into consideration when choosing a Pokemon to send in, especially Ground type ones.

Hisuian Decidueye and Heracross are good choices as they can use Fighting type moves and are resistant to Dragon, Steel, and Water type moves. Though weak to Water type moves, you can also try sending in Hippowdon and burst Hisuian Goodra with a Strong Style Ground move as a finisher.

After defeating the alpha Goodra, you'll need to approach and talk to Mesprit to continue the trial. Mesprit will ask you questions on how you feel about some of the past events in your journey. You can choose any reply as your answers won't affect the outcome of the trial.

If you're looking for another Alpha Hisuian Goodra that you can capture, you can travel to the Coronet Highlands and look for a set encounter at the Ancient Quarry. This Alpha Hisuian Goodra will be at Lv70, which is more powerful than the one inside the cavern!

Alpha Hisuian Goodra Location and How to Catch

Catch an Alpha Hisuian Sliggoo at the Crimson Mirelands

If you really want a strong Alpha Hisuian Goodra, you can catch the Lv50 Alpha Hisuian Sliggoo at the Crimson Mirelands. You can find it in a lake on the right side of Holm of Trials. You can also evolve it right away as long as you do it while it's raining or during thunderstorm.

Since you'll catch it at a lower level, you'll be able to effectively maximize its stats by raising its Effort Levels using Grit items!
