Steps to proceed through Which is the Real Burmy? | |
---|---|
1 | Look for the group of three villagers talking about Burmy. Talk to Leif, the man in the blue shirt, to receive the request. |
2 | Catch each of the three different Burmy forms. |
3 | Show each Burmy form to their individual requesters Show Leif the Plant Cloak Burmy, show Duna the Sand Cloak, and show Tarush the Trash Cloak. |
4 | Complete the Pokedex entry for Burmy. |
5 | Show the three villagers the completed Pokedex entry to complete the request. |
Plant Cloak | Sandy Cloak | Trash Cloak |
---|---|---|
Obsidian Fieldlands |
Crimson Mirelands |
Cobalt Coastlands |
Each of Burmy's cloaks appears in different areas of the Hisui Region. The Plant Cloak more often appears in the Obsidian Fieldlands, the Sandy Cloak appears in Crimson Mirelands, while the Trash Cloak usually appears in Cobalt Coastlands. Though they do appear in other places, these zones are their most common spawn points.
Burmy are encountered by throwing a Poke Ball containing a Pokemon at a shaking tree. When the Pokemon hits the tree, there is a chance that a Burmy could fall out.
When unleashed into battle, Burmy changes forms depending on the area you are currently in, so you can complete the request by merely collecting three Burmy of the same cloak, and letting each one out to battle in the different areas.
The easiest way to complete Burmy's Pokedex entry is to catch more of them. After the three that you have already caught, you would only need to collect a few more to reach Research Level 10.
