Jubilife Village is the Central Hub of Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Galaxy Expeditional Team HQ is located at the very back, past a narrow canal, while a path leads straight from the HQ to the entrance gate, passing through the rest of the village.
Since Jubilife Village is home to the Galaxy Expedition Team, it is also likely where Professor Laventon will give your character their Starter Pokemon. The three starters of Hisui were obtained by the Professor during his journey through different regions.

The headquarters of the Galaxy Expedition Team is located in Jubilife Village. This is where players will receive most of their requests and missions during their playthrough and where many major story beats take place.
Galaxy Expedition Team Profile and Major Characters
Before you set out on your journey, you can visit the General Store in Jubilife Village to stock up on supplies. Though the inventory of General Store is yet to be revealed, it will likely carry many of the basic necessities you require on your adventure like Healing Items and Poke Balls.
Shop Guide: All Available Items and Prices
Crafting is a new mechanic to the Pokemon franchise introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Before you can craft items, you first need to purchase crafting recipes from the Craftworks and obtain the necessary crafting materials, some of which are also available in the Craftworks.
The Craftworks is managed by a man named Anvin. Talk to him to buy items you need for crafting.
How to Get All Crafting Recipes
In the Clothier, you can purchase and change the clothes of your character, including different masks, accessories, and eye customizations. Once you purchase a piece of clothing, you can return to the Clothier to change into it at any time. Simply talk to Anthe to buy and change into your favorite clothes!
Only a few number of outfits and clothing items will be available in the beginning but you can unlock more as you progress through the game!
List of Clothing and How to Change Clothing
The Hairdresser in Jubilife Village allows you to change the hairstyle and hair color of your character. There are a variety of hairstyles to choose from, but there has been no confirmation on whether all hairstyles will be available for both in-game genders.
To change your hairstyle, simply talk to Edith the Hairdresser.
Just like clothing items, there are only a few hairstyles you can choose from early on in the game. You'll need to progress through the game so you can unlock more hairstyles to choose from.
List of Hairstyles and How to Change Your Hairstyle
With the Photography Studio, you can enter Photo Mode and take photos of your character along with one of your Pokemon. While taking your photograph, you can change the color of your background and strike different poses.
Talk to Dagero at the Photography Studio so you can start taking pictures with your beloved Pokemon.
Photo Mode: How to Take Pictures
Like in previous Pokemon games, you can only carry a maximum of 6 Pokemon with you at a time. You can leave any excess Pokemon you catch at the Pastures, which function similar to Pokemon Boxes, except you can also watch your Pokemon roam around their new home.
Speak to Marie to access your Pokemon in the Pastures.
You'll also be provided with your own lodgings in Jubilife Village. You can rest on the futon to pass the time, move items from your satchel to the storage box, and change your clothes using the mirror.
Your House: All Available Features
There is a Trading Post in Jubilife Village too. Here you can exchange Merit Points for items and trade Pokemon with other players. It is managed by a lady named Simona so make sure to talk to her if you're in need of the Trading Post's services.
The Training Grounds allow you to purchase new moves and master moves from Captain Zisu. You can also have rematches with Pokemon trainers once Ingo appears in the area.
You can grow several types of crops that you can use as crafting materials at the Farm. Speak to Colza to start planting the harvests!
Farm Guide: Harvest Requirements and Crop List
The Wallflower serves as the cafeteria for Jubilife Village's residents. If you have Sootfoot Roots in your satchel, Beni will buy them for ₽100 each.
East of the Training Grounds is a small shrine where Lucille can be found praying. Speak to her to purchase different types Charms.
You can find the Gingko Guild Merchants east of your house in Jubilife Village. Ginter offers special item sets and mechanical items while Tuli sells different types of Berries.
Their shop will open once you have quelled the Frenzied Noble Kleavor during The Frenzy of the Lord of the Woods Mission.
List of Ginter Specials and Items: Gingko Guild Shop List
After unlocking Basculegion as a Rideable Pokemon, a small Candy Stand will appear east of the Galaxy Hall building. Speak to Bonn to purchase different types of Exp Candies and start the Serving Up Swap Snacks Request.
If you talk to Professor Laventon at the Base Camp, he'll give you a summary of your research and then give you the option to return to Jubilife Village or stay on the current map.
If you haven't caught or battled any Pokemon, you can choose to return to the village right away since there's nothing new to report to him.
How to Return | ① Press (−) to open the map. ② Press X, then select a Camp and Press A. |
---|
You can return to Base Camp on foot or by riding a Pokemon, or you can fast travel there directly from the map (as long as there are no Pokemon currently targeting you).
If you're currently being targeted by a wild Pokemon, a red eye will show on the top of the screen. Try to escape to a place with no Pokemon and then you'll be able to fast travel.
All Base Camps and How to Unlock
There may be certain points in the story (in particular, the early game), where you must fulfill certain objectives before being able to return to Jubilife Village. Complete the task at hand, and you'll soon be able to head back to the village.
