You can change the moves of a Pokemon in the Satchel menu and learn new moves from Zisu at the Training Grounds in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Read on to learn how to change the moves of a Pokemon, how to learn new moves, and more!
1 | Press the Up Button to open the Satchel. |
---|---|
2 | Select a Pokemon from your party and choose Change Moves. |
3 | Select which moves you want your Pokemon to use and confirm with X. |
While on the field, press the Up Button to open the Satchel menu. If you are on a different menu, press the ZL Button or ZR Button to navigate to the correct menu.
You can also see your Pokemon in the satchel when accessing the Pastures.
Press the A Button to select a Pokemon from your party and choose Change Moves.
On the Change Moves menu, you can find a list of moves that the Pokemon has learned through leveling up or those bought from the Move Tutor on the left column, while you can see the current moves your Pokemon can use on the right.
Select a move from the left column and choose an empty slot or an existing move to replace it. Press the X Button to confirm the changes.
If a Pokemon learns a move upon leveling up, there will be no prompt if you want to replace one of its moves with the newly-learned one. You need to manually replace a move if you want to use the new one.
Additionally, unlike previous Pokemon games, changing their moves does not make them forget it permanently, so you can always go back and replace the previous move that was changed.
List of Moves: All Confirmed Moves
You can teach you Pokemon moves that they cannot learn normally when leveling up at the Training Grounds. Speak to Zisu and select I want new moves, then choose a Pokemon.
The prices of the moves can vary and can be quite expensive, but it can be beneficial to your Pokemon as it can learn moves that are effective against types it is weak against!
Pokemon can learn new moves after reaching a certain level. They may also get new moves right after evolving.
Additionally, Pokemon can also learn more moves after evolving compared to when it has not, especially when it gains a new type once it evolves.
