The Walking Pokemon feature is not available in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Read on to find out what happens instead if you bring out your Pokemon in the field.

Are There Walking Pokemon?

The feature to walk with your Pokemon as you travel around the Hisui region is not present in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Pokemon Can Leave Their Poke Balls

You can send out all six of your party members in the field, but unlike in previous games, you cannot walk with them and they will return to their Poke Balls once you are too far from them.

Pokemon sent out in the field can interact with each other

PLA Pokemon Interaction

Walking too far away from your Pokemon once they are out in the field will cause them to return to their Poke Balls. However, if you stay close to them, they will be able to stay and you can interact with them.

Additionally, if more than two Pokemon are out, you can see them interact with each other.
