Berries

Berries grant different effects when given to a Pokemon and can also be thrown at wild Pokemon to lure them closer to the player, making them easier to catch. Some berries can even be used as crafting materials.

Crafting Materials

Crafting is a new mechanic introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus and is necessary to obtain some items in the game. Stock up on plenty of crafting materials to make sure you have enough to craft the items you need. Because crafting is a new mechanic, all crafting materials are all-new to Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

As shown in the trailers, each Pokemon will have their own list of Preferred Foods. Though it has not yet been revealed what you can do with a Pokemon's preferred food, we speculate that they could help with making Balms.

Throwables

Throwable items can be used as a bait to lure Pokemon. Some like the Smoke Bomb and Stealth Spray allow the player character to move around without being detected.
