List of Contents
In order to unlock many of the features available in the Version 1.1.0 update of Pokemon Legends Arceus, you will need to complete a series of requests. The last request that you need to complete is Request 102: Daybreak. Once this request is cleared, you can talk to Ingo at the Training Grounds to challenge the Path of Solitude.
Daybreak Request Guide and Walkthrough (Request 102)
To start a Path of Solitude battle, you will need to talk to Ingo at the Training Grounds. You will have the option to either have a Regular Battle, Path of Solitude, or Path of Tenacity. Before or after selecting Path of Solitude, you will also have the opportunity to change the current Pokemon in your party.
You are only allowed to enter a single Pokemon into the Path of Solitude challenge, which you can select while talking to Ingo. The opponent that your Pokemon will face in the challenge will be incredibly powerful, so it is best to train your Pokemon before entering it into the Path of Solitude.
The Pokemon you will battle depends on the Pokemon you have chosen to enter into the challenge. They will often have some sort of type advantage against your current Pokemon, so it is best teach your Pokemon plenty of coverage moves to prepare for the battle.
Investing plenty of Effort Levels into HP and Defenses are also good options, since they will likely have super effective moves to use against your Pokemon. More powerful Pokemon will often have stronger opponents.
Your opponent's Pokemon will only change depending on your Pokemon's species. Its stats and level does not influence what Pokemon it will face, so after battling the Pokemon for the first time to see its level and moveset, you can train and adjust your moveset to gain an advantage in your future battle.
After completing a Path of Solitude challenge, the Pokemon that you used in battle will receive a Mark of Victory in your Pokedex. You also receive variety of Training Items, such as Exp Candies or Grit Dust.
If you beat the Path of Solitude with the same Pokemon more than once, you will not receive another mark, but you will receive more items.
There a are 15 Requests in the Daybreak update that require you to take part in the Path of Solitude challenge. The final five will be unlocked after completing the first ten. Before you attempt any of these challenges, it is best to talk to Gared in the Training Grounds, so you can accomplish the request at the same time.
