Crafting Materials can be used to craft a variety of items from Poke Balls to Potions.
To craft items, you will need to use a workbench found either at a Base Camp or in Jubilife Village.
Different types of crafting materials can be purchased from Ginkgo Guild Merchants, such as Volo or Ginter, as they wander around the Hisui region. They will also sell you other items like Berries.

As you explore the region, you may come across red, blue, and gray ores in the area. You can throw a Poke Ball towards it to summon your Pokemon and break it. These ores correspond to the kind of Tumblestone that you will obtain upon breaking them.

You can find most of the crafting materials while on the field. These are usually found on the grass or at the side of the mountain.
If the crafting material is out of reach, you can throw your Poke Ball containing your Pokemon to have it pick it up for you.
You can throw a Pokeball towards a tree to have your Pokemon knock down the Apricorns from it. Look for the tree with brown fruits to obtain this crafting material.
