After visiting the Training Ground for the first time and battling against Akari/Rei during the Request from Mai Mission, you can unlock the quest by resetting the area. Quickly exit and reenter Jubilife Village to reset the area and see all the requests available.

| Steps to proceed through A Perfect Pickling Stone | |

| 1 | Talk to Radisa after your first visit to the Training Grounds. |
| 2 | Catch a Geodude in Obsidian Fieldlands |
| 3 | Return to Jubilife Village and show Radisa the Geodude You can catch the Geodude before accepting the request. |

Geodude can be found all around the center island of Obsidian Fieldlands on the path through Deertrack Heights.
After accepting the request in the Galaxy Hall, Radisa will return to her own home in Jubilife Village. Her house is located to the west of the village, near the farm. To turn in the request, you need to head to her house and show her the Geodude there.
Completing this request is required to unlock Request 53: Octillery's Ink, which is also given by Radisa. Keep in mind there are also other unlock conditions for that request that also need to be met before it is unlocked.
