How to Get Arceus | |
---|---|
|
The first step to getting Arceus is to finish the Main Story of Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
After completing all 18 Main Story Missions, watch the ending, and proceed to completing post-game Missions starting with A New Day Dawns up to Seeking the Remaining Plates.
You will obtain the Azure Flure after completing the post-game Mission Seeking the Remaining Plates.
The Azure Flute will be the player's way to communicate with Arceus.
Follow Arceus' message to seek out all Pokemon. What this means for the player is to catch all 237 Pokemon preceding Arceus in the Hisui Region's Pokedex.
Arceus's Pokedex Number is 238. The four Pokemon following Arceus in the Hisui Dex, Phione, Manaphy, Shaymin, and Darkrai, are not required to encounter Arceus.
You only need to catch the Pokemon or acquire one through trade. You don't have to raise every Pokemon's Research Level to 10. Simply owning one will count towards seeking out all Pokemon
.
How to Complete the Pokedex: Rare Pokemon Locations
Some of the Legendary Pokemon required to face Arceus, such as Enamorus or Giratina, can only be obtained in the game through requests. However, you can skip these requests by adding these Pokemon to your Pokedex through trade.
Legendary Pokemon that you are required to catch during a mission, such as Dialga and Palkia, can also be obtained this way, but since you'll need to complete these missions before getting to Arceus, trading for them is not needed.
Pokedex Completion Trading Board
After catching all the Pokemon, head to the Temple of Sinnoh and play the Azure Flute to meet Arceus.
After a short cutscene, prepare yourself to face the Pokemon God Arceus!
The Arceus fight is similar to a Frenzied Noble Pokemon battle, wherein Arceus will execute attacks that can potentially hurt the player, and you will have to throw Balms and battle it with your Pokemon to take it down.
After defeating Arceus, you will receive the Legend Plate as a Mission reward.
Using the Legend Plate on Arceus would set its move type to all the weaknesses of its opponent when using the move Judgment.
Should you come back to the Temple of Sinnoh after getting Arceus, you will be able to have a rematch with either Arceus, Dialga, or Palkia.
