Unlock Condition

This request is only unlocked after you have established the Coastlands Camp by completing Request 46: Setting Up the Coastlands Camp. You also need to have encountered the Noble Hisuian Arcanine. However, you do not need to battle it yet to unlock this request.

Mission Objectives

Steps to proceed through Balloon Race in the Coastlands
1 Talk to the man at the Coastlands Camp in Cobalt Coastlands to start the Balloon Race minigame.
2 Try to pop 24 balloons within the time limit.
3 Once you have to popped 24 ballons, you have completed the request.

Tips for the Balloon Race

Hold the B Button

Balloon Race Coastlands Camp

Becase the time limit makes it difficult to pop all the ballons needed, it is best to always hold the B button so Basculegion is constantly dashing. Since the balloons are mostly lined up during the race, you can maintain a mostly steady direction and jump when needed.

Challenge the Minigame after the Request

After completing the request, you can return to the Coastlands Camp in Cobalt Coastlands to challenge the minigame again. There are a total of 40 Balloons in the complete minigame, so you can attempt to beat the entire course.
