Unlock Condition

After defeating the Noble Kleavor, you can talk to the Clothier during the Arezu's Predicament story mission to receive the request. Before you can receive the request, you will first have to claim any gifts and bonuses you would receive from the Clothier beforehand.

Mission Objectives

Steps to proceed through Inspiration from Hippopotas
1	Talk to Anthe at the Clothier in Jubilife Village and accept her request.
2	Catch a Male and Female Hippopotas at Sludge Mound in Crimson Mirelands.
3	Go back to Anthe and show the male and female Hippopotas to finish the request and unlock more items from her.

Hippopotas Male and Female Differences

PLA Hippopotas of Both Sexes

It is easier to check for Hippopotas' gender compared to other Pokemon since they have visually different colors. Females have a dark brown color, while males have a light beige color. Without knowing this, the only way to check the gender beforehand is to focus on the Pokemon by pressing the ZL Button.

Hippopotas Location

Hippopotas can be found in several areas of Crimson Mirelands, but are especially common in Sludge Mound. Capture both a male and female Hippopotas in this area to complete the request.
