How to Unlock Balloon Race in the Fieldlands

Balloon Race Location

Unlock Condition

Balloon Race in the Fieldlands is unlocked after the Heights Camp is built and you have gained access to Wyrdeer as a rideable Pokemon. After completing this request, you can return to this camp and replay the Balloon Race minigame at any time.

Balloon Race in the Fieldlands Walkthrough

Mission Objectives

Steps to proceed through Balloon Race in the Fieldlands
1	Go to the Heights Camp in Obsidian Fieldlands and speak with the man running the balloon race.
2	After he explains the mechanics, talk to him again to participate in the race.
3	Pop 17 balloons to complete the request. After you reach 17, the minigame will end, but you can speak to the man again to challenge the minigame once more.

How to Pop 17 Balloons

You only need to pop 17 balloons before the minigame ends and you complete the request. There are few challenging balloons in the first 17 that may be difficult to overcome. If you want more of a challenge, you can come back after completing the request and try to pop all 30 balloons.

Jump to pop the 8th balloon

PLA Pop Balloon 8.

The 8th balloon in the course is a placed high above the ground. Jump using the Y button to pop the 8th balloon.

Simultaneously pop the 10th and 11th balloon

PLA Pop Balloon 10 and 11.

To simultaneously pop the 10th and 11th balloon, pass through the center of the path containing both the 10th and 11th balloon. As this path is narrow, you can pop both balloons at once by passing through the center of the path.

Do a sharp curve to the right after popping the 14th balloon

PLA Pop Balloon 14.

Do a sharp curve to the right after popping the 14th balloon so as not to miss the 15th balloon. To perform a sharp curve, simultaneously toggle off dash and turn the camera to your desired direction.
