It is possible to get all the Hisui starters in Pokemon Legends: Arceus as a reward after finishing the main story, by trading, and by catching them in Space-Time Distortions. Read on to learn about the steps on how to get all starters Pokemon Legends: Arceus for the Nintendo Switch!

How To Get All Starters

Beat Main Story

Receive Starters from Professor Laventon.png

After finishing the main story, talk to Captain Cyllene inside the Galaxy Hall, then speak to Professor Laventon and he will ask you if you want to take the Pokemon in his lab with you.

Choose the option I'd love to!, and you will receive all the starter Pokemon that you didn't choose at the start of the game!

Via Trade

Trading Post

You can get all Hisui starters on one account via local or online trading. You can trade with other players or trade with a secondary device you can run another save file of the games on.

Trading is unlocked after being promoted to First Star Member.

Legends Arceus Starter Pokemon

Required Materials

Below are the materials needed in order to get all Sinnoh Starters by yourself.

  • 2 devices (Nintendo Switch or Switch Lite)
  • 2 copies of Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Method Steps

Required Time: About 40 Minutes - 1 Hour

1 Play the game until you are asked by Professor Laventon to pick a starter.
2 Choose your preferred starter and continue doing your current Mission.
3 Continue through the main story again until you are promoted to First Star Member.
4 After receiving your first Star, you can now trade and get access to the Trading Post in Jubilife Village.
5 Repeat the same steps on your secondary device, but choose a different Starter Pokemon instead.
6 After having unlocked trading on both devices, go to the Trading Post and speak to Simona.
7 Select I want to trade Pokemon and choose Someone nearby.
8 Enter a Link Code and let the other device connect by entering the same Link Code.
8 Accept the trade offer on your other device in order to get the Starter Pokemon you want.

Catch Starters in Space-Time Distortions

Space-Time Distortion

You can encounter the Hisuian starters inside Space-Time Distortions after finishing the main story. These areas can appear while you're exploring the region.

Along with other strong high-level Pokemon, Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott may pop-up inside the dome.

You can also find an alpha Grotle in the Droning Meadow, an Prinplup in Spring Path, were Piplup spawns. Don't know if they're limited to one of each, and/or to being and not being alpha, respectively, but I found both of them.
