Recommended Starting Hand | |||
---|---|---|---|
Paimon | The Bestest Travel Companion! | Jade Chamber | Starsigns |
Leave it to Me! | Changing Shifts | Timmie | Liben |
Swirl will be your best friend when playing this deck when it comes to dealing DMG, but the great thing about this deck is its balance in every situation. That means that it provides decent offense, defense, and DMG support.
To ensure that each Archon can make their contribution, the cards above should enable quick-swapping to keep reactions and supports up, as well as ensuring as much actions as possible in a single turn.
Each Archon has their own specialty that synergizes with each other, contributing to the versatility and adaptability of this deck. Hence, the rotation between them isn't all that strict, but swapping is required to keep the balance up and running.
Zhongli provides protection with his shield, the Raiden Shogun provides DMG support with her Elemental Skill, and Venti can deal DMG actively with Swirl and his Elemental Burst.
Recommended Cards | |||
---|---|---|---|
The Bestest Travel Companion! | When the Crane Returned | Paimon | Timmie |
As per usual, your first roll will likely not align with your characters. It is for that reason that we put emphasis on cards such as The Bestest Travel Companion!, Timmie and Paimon to ensure dice alignment and stock up on dice in the future.
Quick-swap cards like When the Crane Returned will make it possible for you to advance in your strategies that require actions from other characters without having to sacrifice an entire turn, which is required if you want to keep your supports up.
Zhongli | The Bestest Travel Companion! | When the Crane Returned | Paimon |
Play When the Crane Returned if you have it and cast Zhongli's skill to prop up his shield. This will provide you ample time to get things going. You will auto-swap to the Raiden Shogun after that. If not, do so manually.
Around this time, the phase should end and there might not be enough dice for the Raiden Shogun to act. Instead, play any support card you can play. It's recommended that you put Paimon in the field for later.
Raiden Shogun | Changing Shifts | Leave it to Me! | Starsigns |
Cast Raiden Shogun's skill and enable her Electro Summon to prepare for Venti's sequences of Swirl reactions. After her turn, it'll be best to play Starsigns for that one final Energy charge she needs to unload her Burst.
This will give both Zhongli and Venti 2 Energy charges, which is all the latter needs to unleash his Burst. If you can, play Changing Shifts and Leave it to Me! to switch to Venti for free before you end your round.
Venti | Viridescent Venerer | Jade Chamber |
Now is when you finally get to deal some real DMG to your opponents. Start of with Venti's Elemental Burst to set up his Anemo Summon that will, once infused, deal additional Electro DMG and spread it around.
Stick with Venti for the remainder of the battle and use his Elemental Skill to keep triggering Swirl and target all enemies. Should you need your supports back up, you can switch back to Zhongli for his shield then to the Raiden Shogun for her Skill.
Kokomi | Xingqiu | Yoimiya |
Since Swirl will be your main source of DMG when playing this deck, it is highly effective against opponents who apply their own element to themselves.
One good example is Kokomi's deck. Whenever she and Xingqiu apply Hydro on themselves, this will present an opportunity for both Hydro-infused Swirls and Electro-Charged reactions.
This deck boasts an equilibrium in offensive, defensive, and support capabilities to suit any combat situation it may face. It can even work well against bosses and tavern challenges. However, this deck may lack in terms of dealing DMG actively.
That is the reason why keeping Venti alive, locked, and loaded is crucial if you want to win using this deck. Zhongli's shield will be able to protect him from harm, while the Raiden Shogun's Energy resupply will maximize his DMG output.
Ganyu | Mona | Fischl |
These three synergizes extremely well with each other. Ganyu's Charged ATK will be able to deal Piercing DMG normally, but pair that up with Fischl's Skill, and you will be able to deal additional DMG with Superconduct.
Pair her up with Mona's Skill and yo can freeze the Archons in their tracks. Pair Mona up with Fischl and you get Electro-Charged for multi-targeting. This will be perfect for taking out all targets and destroying their well-preserved balance.
Nahida | Yae Miko | Sucrose |
When going up against this deck, it's also a good idea to fight with Elemental Reactions of your own. Not only that, it will also be in your best interest to outnumber its Elemental Reactions, which Nahida excels in doing.
Pair her Seeds of Skandha with Miko's Electro Summon and Sucrose's Swirl reactions, you can do a maximum of three instances of DMG in a single round!
