The Night Before the Trial Quest Location

Go to Flower-Feather Clan

The Night Before the Trial quest is located at the Flower-Feather Clan in Quahucan Cliff, Natlan. Talking to Inkanak at the side of the cliff, west of the Flower-Feather Clan, will trigger the quest.

Note that the quest can be easily seen in the map by looking out for the red quest marker at the northeast side of Natlan.

How to Unlock The Night Before the Trial

Complete the Prerequisites

Players can start this quest after they finish the Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame which is the Archon Quest from Chapter 5 Act I: Flowers Respledent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn.

Enable Focused Experienced Mode

This quest might be involved in other quests so, you can enable Focused Experienced Mode to prevent other characters and scenes from being occupied by other quests.

The Night Before the Trial Walkthrough

Look for the on-site staff

Look for the on-site staff on the west, outside, of the Flower-Feather Clan. You will find Inkanak on a wooden platform near a cliff.

Clear out obstructions within the site

Clear the obstruction within the site of the Flight Trial Arena. You can talk to the clan members to get hints on how to clear each obstruction and indwell with the Saurian Spiritscones near each obstruction to help you clear each one.

You will also get a free trial of Chasca to help you with this objective.

How to Clear the Obstructions Within the Site

Location	How to Clear
Cautious Investigator - Below from the wooden platform where Inkanak can be found.	Shoot the explosive barrels near the rubble to clear the obstruction. An Avatar of Lava will spawn afterwards, then defeat it to finish the objective.
Confused Investigator and Doubtful Investigator - On the cliff opposite of where Inkanak is located.	Indwell with a Tepetlisaur Spiritscone nearby the Confused and Doubtful Investigator. Then, use the Tepetlisaur's skill to clear the obstrcution in front of the two Investigators.
Bold Investigator - On top of the small mountain in front of where Inkanak is.	Call the balloon with an explosive barrell to come towards the target location. Time it perfectly, then shoot the balloon itself to drop the explosive barrell onto the obstruction to clear it.
Curious Investigator - On a rocky ledge north of where Inkanak is located.	Attack the weakpoints simultaneously, marked with sparkling stars, of the Solid Phlogiston. You can also use the free trial Chasca to immediately remove this obstruction.

Return to the vantage point and talk to Inkanak

Return to where Inkanak is located and talk to her about removing all the obstructions successfully.

Talk to Inkanak

Talk to Inkanak to start your flying trial on the on the site of the Flight Trial Arena. At this point, you will only be able to control a free trial Chasca.

Complete the flying trial

Complete the flying trial by using Chasca and going through all the twenty rings that will spawn on the site.

Go and rescue the caravan

After the flying trial, a man named Isidore comes running towards you, Chasca, and Inkanak. Isidore tells you that a dangerous Qucusaur attacked his men and their caravan while they were on their way to the Flower-Feather Clan.

Upon arriving at the scene, you will see the merchants with Elder Allpa, who is trying to resolve the issue.
