Klee and Mona Vaporize Deck Strengths | |||
---|---|---|---|
• High survivability from Action Cards. • Has the potential to FTK (First Turn Kill) a unit that does not swap out during the combo. • Has high burst damage. • Fast paced deck since you can always threaten a kill every turn on any card that has 8 to 10 HP. |
|||
Klee and Mona Vaporize Deck Weaknesses | |||
• Generally weaker against shield decks. • FTK combo requires specific cards and is easily telegraphed. • Strict dice usage thats only mitigated by Liben, Woven Waters, Toss-Up, and Travel Companion. • Losing Klee early makes it harder to make a comeback |
Combo Card 1 | Combo Card 2 | Result |
---|---|---|
Mona | Changing Shifts | - Part of the FTK combo requirements. - Lets Mona quick swap to Klee without spending any dice, letting you maintain the total dice(8) required for the combo. |
Mona | Elemental Resonance: Woven Waters | - Also Part of the FTK combo requirements. - Lets you have a total of 9 Dice, which is the total amount of dice required for the FTK combo with any dice reduction action cards. |
Klee | Liu Su | - Helps Klee get her burst earlier. |
Changing Shifts | Elemental Resonance: Woven Waters |
You only need 2 types of cards for your opening hands, which are Changing Shifts and Woven Waters. These two cards are very important when it comes to dealing 10 damage to a card.
• Use Mona's Elemental Skill • Quickswap to Klee and use her Elemental Skill. • Use Klee's Normal Attack (which now costs only 2) to apply Pyro on the enemy. • End the turn to let Mona's Summon deal Vaporize damage. |
As explained in the combo above, the goal is to have Mona's summon deal Vaporize damage at the end of the turn for a total of 10 damage. \
Although this combo has the potential to one turn kill an enemy who refuses to swap characters, you might not be so lucky against more experienced players. However, its important to know that this combo is in your disposal.
When not doing the combo, your goal is to simple build Klee's Elemental Burst with Energy-boosting cards or by mitigating incoming damage.
After using Klee's Elemental Burst, simply swap to one of your Hydro characters to deal Vaporize damage and score that victory!
Timmie
(Duel Challenge) |
Hushang | Sheikh Zubayr |
This deck is viable against almost all Open World NPC's given its high combo damage thats easy to set up.
Barbara | Mona | Bennett |
Similarly, this deck also performs well against playable characters who don't use shields as a gimmick.
This deck's high burst damage per turn is the bane of every setup focused decks, where they require 3+ turns fully bring out their damage.
Threatening a kill on every turn is sure to throw a wrench in the plans of any Setup decks like a Hypercarry deck build.
This deck is very weak against decks that can shield up their units to mitigate incoming damage. Common decks like these are Noelle or Ningguang Hypercarry decks, where it becomes very difficult to chip away at their HP once they're fully built.
