To start the event, you need to equip a Kamera first, then head to Tianqiu Valley. Press the Prepare to Photograph to grab images for your character!

Angle 3 Photo-Taking Points While Facing the Kamera

You need to angle the camera so that three photo-taking points are within the frame while facing the Kamera! You must not obstruct any of the photo-taking points with your character or any related terrain, or else you won't be able to take pictures.

Use a Catalyst Character's Charged Attack

How to Take the Correct Photo for The Rockeater

Photo Requirements
1 Head to an area near Liyue Harbor
2 Angle must include 2 Photo-Taking Points
3 Catalyst Characters must do Normal Attacks facing the Camera

Take a Photo Near Liyue Harbor

Head to the designated location near Liyue Harbor and press on the Prepare to Photograph Button in the area!

Adjust to Angle Two Photo-Taking Points

Afterwards, you need to adjust the angle to have the two photo-taking points in the frame! Take care not to obstruct it, or else you won't be able to take a photo.

Use a Catalyst Character's Normal Attack

I've been having the same issue

1 beebe.ironman beebe.ironman over 3 years

I've done all the proper steps to take the photo in the Valley but it's not working for me :( Used Catalyst characters, faced the camera, but the charged attack isn't registering when I do it! I even went around fighting enemies to fill up the strongest attack to use for the photo, but that wasn't charged enough?? I don't know what else to do about this issue. It's only the one in the Valley I'm having issues with. The other location outside of Liye Harbor had no issues...
