How to Unlock The Trail of Drake and Serpent
Progress Through Subterranean Trials
You can unlock The Trail of Drake and Serpent by progressing The Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent quest.

The Trail of Drake and Serpent Walkthrough
Head to Evernight Temple
Head to the marked location in Evernight Temple. You can either glide from the Teleport Waypoint on the west side of Dainichi Mikoshi or take the long route.
Alternate Evernight Temple Path
If the recommended method doesn't work for you, you can try following the highlighted path in the image above. This path will let you unlock a few Teleport Waypoints along the way too!
From Dainichi Mikoshi, head to the location of the first Enkanomiya Phase Gate. Use that Enkanomiya Phase Gate and another Enkanomiya Phase Gate along the way. Once you reach the island, follow our highlighted path to reach the quest marker.
Investigate the Markers
Once you're at the location, new markers will pop up. Go to those locations and investigate the three glowing markers to advance. Defeat all of the opponents near the final glowing marker to unlock the unique cube mechanism, Daises of Night and Day.
Note that you need to be in the Evernight state for this. If you aren't in the Evernight state, activate the Whitenight/Evernight mechanism nearby.
Solve the Evernight Temple Puzzle
Activate the Daises of Night and Day, and enter the chamber where a puzzle lies therein. You'll see a Triangular Mechanism, two levers, and a glowing orb, to confirm that you're in the right room.
How to Solve the Evernight Temple Puzzle

| 2 | Attack the Triangular Mechanism 2 times. |
| 3 | Use the lever near the Whitenight Mechanism. |
| 4 | Attack the Triangular Mechanism again. |
| 5 | Use the other lever this time. It's the one farther away from the Whitenight Mechanism. |
| 6 | Use the lever near the Whitenight Mechanism again. |
Go Behind the Wall to the Left
From the Triangular Mechanism, go left and behind the wall. Follow the glowing markers until you reach a room with a chest. Defeat the Rifthound enemies and open the chest to get a fragment of the Reins of Revival!
