Samurai who have fallen into banditry. They practiced martial arts since they were young, but lost the opportunity to serve the people due to certain reasons and turned from the righteous path. Their blade's edges are not cold like ordinary steel, but instead burn with a bitter flame. They seem to have used paper seals, created from a lost Kannagara art, to set the blades afire.

Kairagi: Fiery Might Strategy

Use Freeze to Immobilize

The Kairagi is one of the heavier enemies you can find in Teyvat, meaning you cannot use Anemo characters to crowd control them. You can however, use the Freeze reaction to keep them from dishing out powerful attacks.

Move Behind It when it Guards

The Kairagi is an enemy that has the ability to block your attacks in front of you. Go behind the Kairagi and then attack or Freeze it to easily deal DMG.

Defeat the Pair of Kairagi Simultaneously

When a group of Kairagi show up as a pair, make sure you defeat both Kairagi at the same time, as one Kairagi will get stronger when the other is defeated prematurely.

Strengthened State

If you didn't manage to beat the Kairagi Pair simultaneously, the one still alive will activate a strengthened state.

The Kairagi will have higher RES to interruption and will heal a huge portion of its HP. It will also be immune to certain reactions like Freeze or Electro-charged.

All Kairagi: Fiery Might Attacks

Forward Thrust

The Kairagi: Fiery Might dashes forward with his sword in front, dealing damage in a straight line and can stagger on hit. If his blade is aflame, it deals Pyro DMG.

Wide Slash

The Kairagi: Fiery Might sheathes his blade, then dashes a short distance while striking with two wide arcs. If his blade is aflame, it deals Pyro DMG.

Jumping Slash

The Kairagi: Fiery Might leaps forward and brings down his blade, dealing damage on where he lands in a rectangular area. If his blade is aflame, it deals Pyro DMG.

Three Hit Strike

The Kairagi: Fiery Might moves forward while swinging his blade in three, diagonal slashes. This attack does not track, and he will simply continue the attack in a straight line. If his blade is aflame, it deals Pyro DMG.

This attack may be followed with the Kairagi: Fiery Might setting his blade aflame then striking with one downward slash.
