The Moonveil Katana is an Intelligence and Dexterity scaling weapon with a blood loss buildup passive, it can be found relatively early and is considered to be one of the strongest weapons in the game. The fast attack speeds of this katana compliments the weapon's blood loss build up passive.

This weapon is effective against unshielded enemies with low Poise and the default weapon skill Transient Moonlight can be used to take out one or two enemies in one hit.
