There's a high chance that the Master Ball, a staple of the Pokemon series, isn't available to get in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Having completed the Pokedex and caught Arceus, as well as achieving the Full Star Survey Corp Rank, our team were not able to get a Master Ball.

When you think of places that spawn rare items, Space-Time Distortions naturally come to mind. Following from that, the Master Ball, an invention of modern times (and therefore not around during the events of Pokemon Legends: Arceus), could possibly travel through a Space-Time Distortion and wind up in Hisui.

It's Possible the Master Ball Could Be Added Through a Future Update

Just because the Master Ball probably isn't in the game right now doesn't mean it won't be added in a future update. If the protagonist of Pokemon Legends: Arceus can travel across Space-Time, then there's no reason why the Master Ball or a Crafting Recipe couldn't do the same as well.

The Master Ball is a powerful Poke Ball that, if thrown at a wild Pokemon, will guarantee its capture. However, because Pokemon Legends: Arceus takes place at a time when the ordinary Poke Ball has just been developed, it's doubtful whether the Master Ball would also be invented so soon after.
