It may take a few tries to capture the Pokemon, so be sure to gather lots of Apricons and Sky Tumblestones to create about 20 Feather Balls before proceeding! You may also need to bring extra Poke Balls just in case.

Clear the Area

Clear the Area

Once at the Alabaster Icelands, bring out Sneasler or Braviary to head over to the location. There are barely any aggressive Pokemon on the way if you go over the mountain.

Follow their Flight Path

Follow their flight path
Adjust your position until your crosshair is positioned within their path. You may need to take some time to adjust and maybe test the distance with a Poke Ball or two.

Just note that a Feather Ball has better height and reach than a regular Poke Ball, making it suited for this kind of encounter.

Keep it Steady

Keep it steady
Once you're in your spot, remain there even was you throw your Feather Balls. The Pokemon may escape multiple times, roar, and then continue to fly. This is what you want to take advantage of.

Keep aiming at the same spot by holding ZR so that if they do escape, you can release itimmediately to throw another one. You'll catch them mid-roar, unable to move out of the way. Just keep repeating until you have your Flying Crobat!

Wait or Reset to Catch Again

If you're looking to spawn another one there are three ways to do so: Waiting, Resting, and Leaving the Area to return to Jubilife Village. Often, the first few time you catch Crobat, another will take it's place in a few moments.

In the event that the spawn is not immediate, you can head towards the nearest camp to rest and change the day, pasing time till Crobat returns. Alternatively, you can head back to Jubilife to completely reset the area and return to the spot!
