Not true I have one shiny Arceus obtained from Pokemon Shining Pearl after a shiny hunting kick. Just takes a little bit of luck and a whole lot of patience. However I'm not going to trade it because it's my first successful mythical shiny hunt 8^). So what I recommend is to build up motivation over a year to do it and who knows you might just have what it takes to hunt these elusive shinies... Good luck to all who attempts a mythical or legendary shiny hunt!
