How Does Plague Bearer Work?

Stores Poison Damage

The Plague Bearer Spirit Gem allows you to store all Poison damage, allowing you to detonate it and release a Plague Nova. The explosion will deal Physical Damage and apply Poison based on the amount of damage stored based on the expected Poison damage.

Naturally, the Plague Bearer synergizes with builds like the Poison Pathfinder, which hones in on Poison damage. To use the Plague Nova, you must equip the skill by hovering over the Skills tab beside your mana pool and assigning it a hotkey!

Use the Plague Bearer to its maximum potential by only using the skill when you have accumulated 100% Poison damage. You will receive a sound cue, and your character will be highlighted with a sickly green tinge when you have reached the maximum amount!

  • Plague Bearer now stores up to 197-15257 Poison Damage at Gem levels 4-20 (previously 158-14989). The damage past Gem level 20 has also been reduced.

You can unlock the Plague Bearer Spirit Gem in the Gemcutting menu by engraving the skill using a Level 4 or higher Uncut Spirit Gem.

You have to activate it through the "Plague Nova" skill.

Does anyone know how to actually use the skill to do damage? I see it charging up as I deal poison but the skill bind doesn’t seem to activate it even at 100% charge.
