Sanguine Chapel

Currently, our top recommendation for the best Nightmare Dungeon to farm is the Sanguine Chapel. It features a straightforward layout with excellent Elite density, making it ideal for both solo and group XP farming.

Carrion Fields

Map Overworld

The Carrion Fields dungeon has a Compact and straightforward dungeon layout with decent Elite density, providing excellent EXP, Gold, and loot. Additionally, the objectives on this dungeon is easy to rush, allowing you to clear it fast.

Sirocco Caverns

Map Overworld

Easy to complete dungeon with high Elite density. On top of that, group members can split up into two during the second area of the dungeon. However, if party members are not strong enough, it is best to stay together as the Boss spawns on top of you after the completing second objective.

Deserted Underpass

Map Overworld

Has a very small map layout with high Mob and Elite density plus easy objectives for speed-farming EXP as most enemies are clustered together.

Best Nightmare Dungeons for Glyph

Carrion Fields

Map Overworld

This is the shortest Nightmare Dungeon available for Season 2, with a straightforward objective that you can easily complete solo or with a group. Additionally, most of the enemies in this dungeon are grouped up, making it a lot easier to clear.

Sirocco Caverns

The Sirocco Caverns can be easily completed, as the objective only requires you to eliminate enemies and destroy the Silken Spire. You can finish the dungeon quickly, especially by splitting up with party members to hunt down the objectives.

Deserted Underpass

The Slay All Enemies objective in this dungeon makes it easy to locate the enemies you need to eliminate in order to proceed to the second objective. By completing this dungeon a few times, you'll be able to memorize the Ward of Eyes locations for faster clearing.

Belfry Zakara

While the Belfry Zakara has multiple objectives, it is one of the shortest dungeons to complete if you memorize the objective locations. Additionally, it has a low Elite density, which can speed up your run, making the dungeon excellent for speed-farming.

These Affixes provide positive effects that can help your Nightmare Dungeon run, no matter your class or build. Increased Critical Strike and Quick Killer provide an overall increase in damage, and Magic Find and Gold Find will help you farm items and Gold easier.

These Affixes provide a direct increase to your elemental damage and thus dependent on your class, build, and damage type. Spellcasters like the Sorcerer, Necromancer, and Druid can make use of these effectively.

Volcanic While in combat, gouts of flame periodically erupt near players.
Monster Regen Non-boss monsters regen 1.5% Maximum Life per second.
Monster Life Monsters gain 30% extra life.

Nightmare Sigils always come with negative Affixes. The Affixes listed in the table above are some of the easier ones to deal with.

  • Monster Life and Monster Regen are two of the least dangerous negative Affixes in higher tiers, as they only provide health increases to enemies in Nightmare Dungeons.
  • Volcanic only requires smart positioning of your character to play around, and is one of the less annoying position-based negative Affixes.
  • Nightmare Portals mostly spawns weaker mobs and are often just a mild annoyance rather than a dangerous negative Affix.

Dungeon Affixes to Avoid

Slowing Projectiles Monster attacks from a distance have a 40% chance to slow targets.
Resource Burn Monster attacks from a distance burn 12% of your Primary Resource.
Death Pulse Killing a monster releases a deadly lightning pulse after a short delay.
Backstabbers Monsters near the player deal 100% more damage when attacking from behind.
Drifting Shade Drifting Shade chases players. Upon reaching them, it explodes for heavy damage and creates a Nightmare Field that Dazes victims.
Resistance Breakers Monster attacks from a distance reduce resistance by 8% for 6 seconds, stacking up to 40%.
Lightning Storm Lightning gathers above the player. Get into the protection dome to avoid severe outcomes.

While negative Affixes from Nightmare Sigils are Nightmare Sigils, some stand out from the rest in terms of difficulty and being troublesome to deal with.
