Want to know if the Day Care, Eggs, or Breeding is present in Pokemon Legends: Arceus? You've come to the right place! Find out if Pokemon Legends: Arceus features supports Pokemon breeding, and how the game compensates on the common purposes of breeding in this guide!
List of Contents
There is no Pokemon Day Care or Pokemon Nursery in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, so Pokemon can only be raised by the trainer and aren't able to learn Egg Moves. You can, however, visit Zisu at the Training Grounds in Jubilife Village to teach your Pokemon new Moves and master them.
Agile and Strong Styles: How to Master Moves
Since there is no Pokemon Day Care or Pokemon Nursery, it shouldn't be surprising that there is also no Breeding or Pokemon Eggs. This might be a bit disappointing to fans who enjoyed the feature from Pokemon games past.
Instead of hatching from Eggs like in previous Pokemon games, Baby Pokemon can be found in the wild in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. They're very rare, though, so be sure to check out the guide on Baby Pokemon locations!
While it's a shame to lose such long-standing features as Breeding and Eggs, many other features have been streamlined or simplified so that you can focus on enjoying catching Pokemon and filling out your Pokedex. For instance, Shiny odds may be drastically increased to improve your chances of finding a Shiny Pokemon in a Mass Outbreak.

It seems that the game has also done away with Individual Values (IVs) and Effort Values (EVs). Instead of breeding Pokemon for Individual Values (IVs) like in previous Pokemon titles (and training for EVs), Pokemon Legends: Arceus has a simplified stats system called Effort Levels.
