Shiny Hunting is Easier than Before

While it's a shame to lose such long-standing features as Breeding and Eggs, many other features have been streamlined or simplified so that you can focus on enjoying catching Pokemon and filling out your Pokedex. For instance, Shiny odds may be drastically increased to improve your chances of finding a Shiny Pokemon in a Mass Outbreak.

Effort Levels Replace IVs and EVs

Pokemon Legends Arceus Effort Levels

It seems that the game has also done away with Individual Values (IVs) and Effort Values (EVs). Instead of breeding Pokemon for Individual Values (IVs) like in previous Pokemon titles (and training for EVs), Pokemon Legends: Arceus has a simplified stats system called Effort Levels.
