The Scales of History is a side quest found in Nahantu in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred (D4). Read on to learn starting location of The Scales of History, a list of quest objectives, rewards, as well as a complete walkthrough.

The The Scales of History quest is unlocked by speaking to Mordarin in Kurast Bazaar.

Give Mordarin an Elixir of Shadow Resistance if you already have one in your inventory. Otherwise, craft one with the alchemist across Mordarin.
Follow Mordarin to the ruins to the southeast. Clear the area and inspect the Ancient Chest. Pick up the Moldy Scroll Fragment and hand it to Mordarin.
Head to the marked quest area and defeat enemies until you've collected all the required items. When you have all of them, return to Mordarin.
Head into the Mage Clan Ruins and defeat all the enemies inside to complete the side quest.
