The Red-Cloaked Horror can be summoned during the Blighted Revelry World Event in Diablo 4 (D4). Read on to learn more about how to fight the Red-Cloaked Horror!

How to Summon the Red-Cloaked Horror

Complete a Blighted Revelry Event

Blighted Revelry.png

The Blighted Revelry Event is a zone event that you can do in the regions of Kyovashad that's affected by the Midwinter Blight. It involves lighting up a broken cart to melt down the Frigid Husks and destroying all of the husks in the surrounding area. Once you are able to destroy the Frigid Husks in time, the Red-Cloaked Terror will appear as a boss encounter.

Red-Cloaked Horror Moveset

Axe Slam

The Red-Cloaked Horror will do an attack similar to the large Khazras but the slam attack will also produce ice waves horizontally from its axe.

Spire Explosion

The Red-Cloaked Horror will raise its axe and do a chant. After a few seconds have passed, the ice pillars that are falling continiously in the area will explode and deal damage.

Spiral Ice Orb

The Red-Cloaked Horror will summon 6 ice orbs that will fire out from its starting location.

How to Beat Red-Cloaked Horror

Avoid Axe Slam Move

The Axe Slam move is highly predictable but if it hits you, it can deal a decent amount of damage. Make sure to avoid this attack as much as you can!

Regularly destroy the Ice Pillars

The Ice Pillars are destructible objects and while it can block some of your projectiles to lessen your damage, this is not necessarily a bad thing to do as the Red-Cloaked Horror can make these pillars explode to deal damage. Get rid of the Ice Pillars before their quantity starts getting numerous.

Max out your Ice Resistance

The Red-Cloaked Horror primarily uses physical attacks and ice elemental attacks. We highly recommend maxing out your Ice Resistance if you're having trouble besting the Midwinter Blight boss.
