Belial can only be found after reaching any Torment difficulty. Head to the Palace of the Deceiver dungeon, located in Kehjistan, to fight Belial. To unlock the Palace of the Deciever, you'll need to complete The Lord of Lies from the Season 8 Questline.

Once inside the Palace of the Deceiver, interact with the summoning altar to fight Belial. You'll need 2 Betrayer's Husks to open Belial's reward chest.

How to Summon Belial

To summon Belial, you simply need to interact with the Summoning Altar at the Palace of the Deceiver,. However, to gain Belial's rewards, you must open Belial's Hoard using 2 Betrayers Husks.

You can obtain Betrayer's Husks by defeatring Belial's base form from Season 8's seasonal activities, or from its chances to appear after defeating a Lair Boss.

How to Get Betrayer's Husk

Base Form Spawns after Lair Bosses or in Apparition Incursions

Belial's Base form has a chance to appear after opening a Lair Boss hoard. He can also appear in Apparition Incursions but does not reward .

Belial's Base form has its own mechanics similar to other Lair Bosses. Defeating this form of Belial in Lair Boss dungeons drops a duplicate of the Lair Boss hoard you just opened, essentially doubling the rewards.

Do note that Uniques and Lair Boss Keys do not drop from Apparition Incursions as they can only drop from the Belial that spawns after Lair Bosses. Additionally if you did not open the hoard chest after defeating a Lair Boss, you will only receive Spectral Ashes as your rewards.

How to Beat Belial

Belial Boss Fight Guide

Avoid the Poison Trails

Belial can throw out toxic blobs at random locations and execute poison attacks in a straight line which can be difficult to keep track off. We recommend to keep moving around and dodge whenever you can to find a safe spot for you to survive.

Move Away from the Crystals

Every now and then, Belial will summon red crystals that are spread out within the area. These crystals may seem harmless but once Belial controls them, they will track you and explode after a few seconds so make sure to run and dodge away from the crystals once they start moving.

Invite Other Players

Invite Other Players

It's recommended to invite other players to your party to maximize the rewards once Belial appears. The item drops won't be tradable but it will drop for all four players when done in a group, as opposed to just one when attempted solo.
