Season 12 releases after Season 11 ends on March 10, 2026. Based on the timeline, Season 12 may be a short season if a new one is introduced in the Lord of Hatred expansion.

Kill StreaksKillstreak
Killstreaks are a new Seasonal mechanic being added to Season12. Kill Streaks reward players for quick and consecutive kills, granting bonuses depending on the Bloodied Affixes from their Bloodied Items.
Failure to kill enemies in a period of time will end the Killstreak, this grants experience and Reputation based on how large a player's Kill Streak was.
Bloodied Items
Bloodied Items are the new item gimmick or power for Season 12. These are special affixes on your gear that provide bonuses depending on your Kill Streak tier.

Bloodied Items are not exclusive, and an item can be both Ancestral and Bloodied. Similar to other affixes, Bloodied Affixes can stack their effects.
Bloodied Sigils
Bloodied Sigils will only be available once players reach Torment I. appear on Nightmare Dungeons, Infernal Hordes, and Lair Bosses. The difficulty of these sigils are expected to be a Torment Tier higher than what difficulty players are currently on.
Bloodied Sigils also have the special Relentless Butcher affix. This type of the Butcher will continue to respawn in a player's run even after defeat. Keep in mind that this affix does not affect the spawn rate of a normal Butcher, and there can even be a chance that both Butchers spawn at once.
New Unique Items
Season 12 will also release 5 new general uniques available to most classes. As of February 3, 2026, these uniques are already available for testing in the 2.6.0 PTR!
