The Two-Handed Axe Expertise is simply the best and most simple technique slot to use for extra damage. You can benefit from this damage boost by consistently applying Vulnerable using your Horadric Spell with Sapping Crux.

Bash Bash Bash Bash the enemy with your weapon, dealing XX% damage. After bashing enemies 4 times, your next Bash will clobber, Stunning enemies for 1.5 seconds. Clobber twice as often while using a Two-Handed weapon. (Skill) |

The Horadric Spellcraft gives the build so much space for utility to help deal more damage and clear faster. Sapping Crux consistently inflicts Vulnerable to almost any nearby enemies and Bloody Charm allows to execute them at low enough life thresholds.
Pressurized Steam gives the not only suvivability in the form of stuns, but enables the Willbreaker Horadric Jewel for bosses and tankier Elites. However, this Arcana slot can be swapped to others for other utility, such as Movement Speed or more survivability.

Prioritize slotting in Rubies on your Armor pieces for the damage boost and reduction, but also for the Paragon stat bonuses. Additionally, Sapphires and your Runewords are best slotted in the weapons.
Use your jewelry sockets for powerful Horadric Jewels or to cap your Armor and Resistances.

Idol From Below may be the best Horadric Jewel for most builds as it gives a nice stat and life bonus, as well as the Unhindered Buff and the potential additional enemies to help you get Pit progress.
Luminate Eye and Willbreaker are also good choices for jewels as former can reduce your Ultimate's cooldown, while the latter boosts your damage further.

This build has a smooth playstyle as you only need to spam Bash while pressing most of the other skills they're on cooldown. When approaching a pack of mobs and elites, here's the usual skill rotation:
- Use Wrath of the Berserker to pull in nearby enemies.
- Use your Shouts to trigger the Marshal Glyph and reduce Wrath of the Berserker's cooldown.
- Use Ground Stomp to further reduce Wrath of Berserker's cooldown.
- If you cleared the pack, proceed to the next one with Wrath of Berserker off cooldown. Otherwise, use it to kill the rest of the pack.
