Since Seasons revolve around getting from 0 to 100 while engaging in the new Season 3 mechanics, it will be in your best interest to plan ahead especially with the much slower progression pace of Season 3.
To make sure you're prepped for the endgame loop in WT3 and WT4, start farming upgrade materials, unlocking map waypoints, and securing required codex aspects before you hit level 50.
Unlike in Season 2, the new Season will gate mechanics like the new Vaults behind Seasonal Questline progress. When first starting, make sure to prioritize finishing the questline to unlock the full range of available activities in Season of the Construct.
The current questline is very short. Skipping through dialogue should allow you to complete it in under two hours. It will be even quicker if you're using an optimized leveling build for Season 3.
Season 3 Questline Walkthrough
The Seneschal is a pet you get during the Season 3 questline. Make sure to unlock it early to quickly learn about its strengths and weaknesses ahead of the lengthy grind to upgrade its Governing and Tuning Stone attachments.
How to Unlock and Upgrade Your Seneschal
Arcane Tremors are Season 3's version of Blood Harvests. Defeat Constructs and disable Obelisks within the play area to farm Shattered Stone and Elemental Cores that allow you to challenge the Heralds of Malphas.
Heralds of Malphas will drop Governing Stones and Pearls of Warding once defeated. These are needed to upgrade your Seneschal and access Vault reward chests later on, so make sure to farm and hoard them for the endgame push.
Arcane Tremors Guide and Rewards
Season 3 Journey rewards will grant you a collection of brand new Legendary Aspects as well as an assortment of Governing and Tuning Stones. Make sure to complete these objectives to get much needed power spikes on your journey to level 100.
Season 3 Journey Guide and Rewards
Vaults are the primary method for upgrading Seneschal Stones. Once you have a decent speed farming build and enough Pearls of Warding, head over to a Vault and run it all the way to the end to get the Tuning Stone rewards at the end.
Note: In order to unlock all of the chests in the reward room, you will need a full stack of Zoltun's Warding. These stacks are acquired by offering Pearls of Warding to Zoltun's Statue at the start of each vault.
If you haven't already, make sure to finish up your Renown grind and Waypoint unlocks before hitting endgame. Since both of these activities become tedious at WT4, it is best to complete them before your build starts hitting its stride at level 50+.

Similar to the previous season, a new set of rewards for both the Season Journey and Season Battle Pass will be introduced. In the Battle Pass, it consists of 90 tiers (28 free and 62 premium) which contain new Cosmetics, Portals, Mounts, and much more! You will need to purchase the premium version to unlock the rewards from the premium tiers.
As for the Season Journey, you will be rewarded with new Seasonal Aspects as you progress through the seven chapters, which will be removed by the end of the season.
The Hall of Ancients is a permanent leaderboard that will cement the legacy of the best players from each weekly leaderboard. This feature is slated to drop mid-season similar to how the Abattoir of Zir launched for Season 2.
The Gauntlet is a new weekly challenge dungeon introduced in Diablo 4 (Season 3). It is a non-linear dungeon with fixed enemies and affixes that you can participate in once you reach World Tier 4. This dungeon does not require players to be level 100, and you can also bring your friends to play the Gauntlet as a party.
Much like the Hall of Ancients Permanent Leaderboard, the Gauntlet and its Weekly Leaderboard are slated to drop mid-season.
