The Ceremony of Slaughter is an event located in the Fields of Hatred (PvP zone) where players must build Savagery by completing objectives. The Butcher's idol spawns after the third objective, and it spawns near the player with the most Savagery.

The event can swap places between the Fields of Hatred in Dry Steppes and Kehjistan with around a 25-minute cooldown.

Activate the Ceremony of Slaughter (PvP).png

Buildup Savagery by completing the event objectives. These objectives can take multiple forms, like destroying enemy structures, harvesting souls, killing enemies in a specific area, or one-shotting enemies. These events also have no particular order of appearance.

Once the third objective is completed, the Butcher's Idol will spawn beside the player with the most Savagery. Interacting with the Butcher's Idol turns players into the Butcher for 5 Minutes. Keep in mind that you cannot heal while you are the Butcher.

Kill the Butcher to Get the Idol

If other players want to become the Butcher, they must kill the Butcher for the idol to drop. From there, whoever interacts with the Idol first becomes the Butcher.

If no player interacts with the Idol, then the first player that became the Butcher can interact with the Idol again after 30 seconds.
