Only Worth the 800 Platinum Received

Is it Worth It.

Most of the items contained in this pack is purely cosmetic in nature and only offer an aesthetic upgrade to your gameplay, in itself does not hold any substantial difference to gameplay. However, when you consider that 200 Platinum is priced at almost $2, and 500 Platinum is priced at almost $5, you get 100 Platinum more for roughly the same price, along with free skins.

Liath Icehowl

Liath Icehowl
“Once used to ferry bodies to their rest, this mottled colt carries with it the trinkets of heroes long dead and buried.”

The Liath Icehowl is a mount cosmetic that adds a few trinkets to your mount's mane and tail giving you a ghostly pale steed.

Mounts are not available until completion of the quest: “Donan's Favor”. Mount access must be unlocked in-game before using mounts.

Beginning's End

Beginning
“Formerly the bedpost of a child's crib, this sharpened timber now serves a more deadly purpose.”

This weapon cosmetic looks to be a skin that can be applied to short one-handed weapons like Daggers, Wands, and Sickles.

Protean Axe

Protean Axe
“Adaptation is the key to survival. This spade fulfills the role of both an implement of death and a means to dispose of the body.”

The Protean Axe, in contrast to the Beginning's End, is a cosmetic skin that looks to be applied to other one-handed weapons like Swords, Scythes, and Staves.

You say you can buy better weapons to enhance survivability but that isn’t true. Everything purchased with platinum is purely cosmetic.
