A Tower Key is a bugged quest item that was originally used in the Tormented Ruins dungeon of Diablo 4 (D4). Read on to find out more about the Tower Key, including where to find it and where to use it during the Beta.

Where to Use the Tower Key

Used While Clearing the Tormented Ruins Dungeon

The Tower Key is used to open the gate inside the Tormented Ruins dungeon, allowing the player to progress into the Chamber of Calling and challenge the dungeon boss, Scourge of the Land. Once you finish the Dungeon, the Tower Key will disappear from your inventory.

The Tower Key is an item that randomly appears on the ground. This key can sometimes be found just under the southeast gate to Kyovashad, on the way to the Southeast Foothhills. The key itself is currently bugged, as it is a Quest Item the you would normally get when tackling the Tormented Ruins dungeon in the Desolate Highlands.

Note: The key is actually dropped by Adalgrim - an Elite dungeon monster that players must kill in order to progress through the Tormented Ruins.
