Honestly, they're all pretty good. I don't look deep into stats, but Samurott seems balanced and Typhlosion has a great moveset. I used to hate the Rowlett line but, wow, Hisuian Decidueye is great. It's movepool and signature moves are great, and it's very strong offensively. Plus, it seems faster after it evolved. Generally, they're all great. But I'm definitely choosing Rowlett in my next playthrough.

I don't know which starter to choose because this guide says samurott but later it says typhlosion can withstand the most. I'm so confused about who to choose

You wrote that Oshawott's final evolution is defensively the best type due to it's 6 resistances and 1 Immunity, but Cyndaquil's final evolution (Typhlosion) has 7 resistances and 2 immunities which should make it the best type defensively. Typhlosion also has the best typing offensively aswell, which in my mind combined with its other traits should make Cyndaquil the best starter pokemon.

Cyndaquil is clearly the best- Once fully evolved Hisu Typhlosion has that broken move Infernal Parade. Pair it up with any bulky pokemon with a status move and you'll stomp through any battle. Even if Typhlosion has a bad match up , you literally have other 5 Pokemon to deal with that Noble.

This is BS. Typhlosion is way better. Great typing, best stat distribution. And btw you want attack down, speed up (with 119 base spAttack you have enough power, but 10% speed up gives you an actual edge

Thanks for making the only decent starter guide. I've looked at about a dozen of these guides and they are all garbage and just come down to what the writer likes best. This is a killer, well thought it guide. A 10/10 in a sea of 1s. Good on you.
