Gurranq's Beast Claw is an upgraded version of the regular Beast Claw incantation. However, unlike its predecessor, this version shoots out claw-like projectiles in an AoE around the caster while having a slightly shorter range.

Gurranq's Beast Claw can be obtained once you have exchanged 8x Deathroot to Gurranq at Bestial Sanctum in Caelid.

How to Use Gurranq's Beast Claw

Best Used When Surrounded

Elden Ring - Best Used When Surrounded
Gurranq's Beast Claw is best used when surrounded by enemies in PvE. Its large AoE coupled with its high damage is great for creating space when getting mobbed. However, do note that this incantation does not have a lot of poise during casting. Make sure you are not tanking hits as you start casting the spell.

Note: This move is highly telegraphed, making it almost impossible to hit in a 1v1 PvP fight. However, when being chased by a group, this spell becomes good for zoning, especially when fighting in narrow spaces like hallways or small rooms.

Damage is Boosted by the Clawmark Seal

Players can boost the damage of Gurranq's Beast Claw by equipping the Clawmark Seal. Since the best Faith-scaling seal is the Erdtree Seal, wield the Clawmark Seal in your off-hand while casting with your primary seal to boost the damage of Gurranq's Beast Claw.

Another way to boost the damage output of the Clawmark Seal when used as your primary seal is to two-hand it. Since this seal also scales with Strength, two-handing grants you bonus strength that also increases the damage of Gurranq's Beast Claw.
