Poison Armament Lore

Lore Description
"Incantation of the servants of rot.

Enchants armament held in the right hand with poison.
This incantation can be cast while in motion.

Those who dwel within poison know rot all too well. The death that begets life, that comes to all equally. That is to say: it is the cycle of rebirth put into practice."

Poison Armament Effects

Poison Armament is a Servants of Rot Incantation that grants the user the ability to temporarily coat their right-hand weapon in Poison for 60 seconds. Attacking enemies with your weapon will cause the buildup of Poison, enemies affected by this status effect will take damage over a period of time.

You can obtain the Poison Armament incantation spell from a scarab south of the Sellia Crystal Tunnel in the Caelid region. The tunnal can be found southeast of the Dragonbarrow West site of grace.

How to Use Poison Armament

Buff Weapon with Poison

Elden Ring - Buff Weapon with Poison
When activated, this spell gives your weapon a (45) Poison buildup. Poison is a very effective status effect since most enemies in the game and other players are susceptible to its effect. You can use it to slowly chip away at an enemy's HP in addition to your physical attack damage.

Against bosses, you can use other weapon, items, and even Spirit Ashes that have attacks that builds up Poison to trigger the status effect more easily and frequently. Keep in mind that weapons that are infused with affinities such as Frost or Bleed cannot be buffed by this spell.

Pair with Kindred of Rot's Exultation

The damage of this incantation can be further increased by the effects of Kindred of Rot's Exultation talisman. Equipping this talisman will increase the damage of your physical attacks and spells by 20% when Poison is applied in the area.
