Lore Description
"An incantation of Erdtree Worship.

Greatly increases lightning damage negation for the caster and nearby allies. Hold to continue praying, delaying the effect.

This incantation was used by the knights of the Erdtree during the assault by the great ancient dragon Gransax, and the bitter War of the Ancient Dragons that followed."

Golden Lightning Fortification Effects

Golden Lightning Fortification greatly increases the lightning resistance of you and your allies. The character kneels for a couple seconds to cast the spell, after which a golden burst of light signals that the spell has been applied.

From the Dragon Temple Lift in Crumbling Farum Azula, head to the south exit and continue moving south until you see reach a group of pillars leaning sideways. Go down that area and you will see a scarab. Use long-ranged attacks or items to immediately kill the scarab from afar.

This spell has only one use: As a defense against players and enemies that use lightning attacks. Golden Lightning Fortification can weaken the damage output of Faith builds, especially ones that rely on lightning spells.

Golden Lightning Fortification is also a very good spell to use in a party while exploring Leyndell, Royal Capital, as several enemies here use lightning attacks. This spell can also help in the fight against Dragonlord Placidusax.
